The firm Tharin Architect Inc. was established in March 1994 in Toronto. Since obtaining our first institutional commission in the summer of 1994 we have been continuously involved in the design and construction of a variety of institutional facilities and historic renovation projects. Our client list for these projects includes three School Boards, the Toronto Public Library Board, Victoria University on the U of T campus and the Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Science Centre. All of these clients have favoured us with repeat commissions.

The firm's prime objective is design excellence and personal dedication to our clients' projects. Our basic philosophy stresses the need to listen and to understand our client's requirements. We then follow through with a personal hands-on approach.

The two principal members of the firm are involved in each project from the initial engagement to the completion of services. This process ensures that we are always accessible and accountable to our clients for the entire duration of a project and beyond for warranty issues.

Since the firm's inception we have grown to a 5 member practice with 2 graduate architects, 2 technologists and a specification writer/project manager.

The firm utilizes computer technology for all construction documents. All our computers are networked and employ Autocad Release 2000i software. The two-way transmission of drawing files to consultants or clients is achieved via e-mail.
